Since opening in 1985, the Irvine Office has grown from five lawyers to more than 45 lawyers offering the full range of the firm’s services and a sophisticated practice in the heart of Orange County.  We combine Jones Day’s global resources with our local knowledge and experience to serve a wide-range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and emerging start-up industries along California’s Tech Coast.

The Irvine Office started as a small group of trial lawyers and today includes one of the largest litigation practices in Orange County.  Our Irvine based trial lawyers represent clients in civil lawsuits, arbitrations, government investigations and criminal matters.  We handle high profile cases in state and federal courts, as well as, both national and international arbitrations.  Over the past twenty years, the Irvine office has also grown to include other practice areas for which Jones Day is world-renowned.  For example, as integral members of Jones Day’s global transactional practices, our Irvine corporate lawyers advise clients on all facets of corporate law, including: mergers and acquisitions, securities law and compliance, private and public equity and debt offerings, corporate finance, lending, restructuring, corporate governance, proxy contests, and executive compensation.  Irvine also has a strong and growing labor and employment practice, real estate practice, health care practice and intellectual property practice.
