The Firm's Sydney Office opened in 1998 and is dedicated to providing high-quality Australian law legal services to a wide range of domestic and international Firm clients, with a particular focus on inbound and outbound investments, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring and reorganisation, and dispute resolution.

All lawyers in the Sydney Office have significant advisory and transactional experience in Australia.  We counsel clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, capital raising, restructuring, takeovers, and commercial and corporate advisory matters.  We also have capabilities in litigation, labor and employment, intellectual property, technology and outsourcing, and French law governing the French Pacific Islands.  Recently, the Sydney office has advised Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. on insolvency issues in Australia, Lowe's Companies, Inc. entry into the Australian hardware sector by way of a multi-billion dollar joint venture with Woolworths Limited of Australia, and Australian Health Management Group Limited on its demutualisation and acquisition by Medibank Private Limited.
