Technology Support Services (TSS) Infrastructure Regional Engineer

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Technology Support Services (TSS) Infrastructure Regional Engineer is responsible for the coordination, service, troubleshooting and support of infrastructure and data center services for Europe and the Middle East. The TSS Infrastructure Regional Engineer is responsible for system maintenance activities, assisting with projects for data centers and offices, equipment installation and removal, cabling, upgrades, vendor relationship management including, but not limited to, voice and data circuits, coordinating and maintaining data center business relationships and lease agreements, office moves, refits and buildouts. The TSS Infrastructure Regional Engineer is responsible for providing support and troubleshooting assistance with Firm systems; including managing work, resolving escalated issues, communicating with end-users, documenting known technical issues and resolutions, monitoring the integrity of various networks and systems, assisting engineers and developers with troubleshooting or developing "bug" fixes and system enhancements, interfacing with various groups within TSS, and participating in Firm technology projects as requested. The TSS Infrastructure Regional Engineer is expected to work in an environment of constantly evolving and rapidly changing hardware and software technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • University-level degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or equivalent working experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in providing expert technical support in a complex IT environment.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructures, including servers, virtualization technologies, SAN storage, backup/restore infrastructure and Local and Wide Area Networks.
  • Ability to fluently speak, write and read English.
