Business Development & Communications (BD&C) Proposals Coordinator (Amsterdam, London, or Paris)

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Working as part of the global Business Acquisition Unit (part of the global Business Development & Communications department), the Proposals Coordinator supports all aspects of responding to RFPs and creating proposals and pitches, including developing drafts, finalizing the end product, overseeing submission to the client or prospective client, and follow-up to determine the result.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, time, and project management skills, able to handle many tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent English oral communication and business writing/editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail; multi-lingual a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, able to establish effective working relationships across regional, practice, and Firm lines.
  • University-level degree, minimum three years experience in a business and/or professional services environment, experience in the legal environment preferred.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Within the team of paralegals of our corporate department, assist lawyers with the framework of a portfolio of listed and non-listed companies (SA, SAS, SARL, SNC, SCI, GIE, Associations) or the execution of capital-intensive operations, restructuring, external growth or financing. This mission will include the following tasks: drafting of the social documentation relating to the daily life of the companies (approval of the annual accounts) or to the realization of specific operations (increases / reductions of capital, issues of securities, constitution, dissolution, liquidation, merger, partial contributions of assets or sale of business funds), keeping social records, fulfillment and follow-up of legal formalities, and conducting legal audits (review of corporate documents and drafting of the corresponding sections of the audit report).
Specialization: Company Law (unlisted and, ideally, listed).

Required Qualifications:

  • Legal Education in French Law.
  • 3 years' experience as a paralegal, ideally acquired in a business law firm.
  • Fluent in French and English.
