Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Jones Day in Paris is looking for a Coordinator, Business Development for a permanent position to be filled as soon as possible. The Coordinator, Business Development will be in charge of the coordination and execution of the business development and marketing actions of the Paris office. These responsibilities include: the preparation and coordination of responses to calls for tenders and pitches, search for experience and use of the Firm's various marketing databases, assistance on business development projects in Paris and Europe, creation and coordination of BD/marketing documents, management of bios in French language (creation, review and validation), preparation and coordination with lawyers of questionnaires (submissions) for French publications, collaboration with the Recognitions & Awards team dedicated to international guides (Chambers and Legal 500). The Coordinator, Business Development will join a highly integrated team within the Firm, and have daily communication with the teams in the United States and other European offices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a law firm or in consulting, with a background in marketing, communication or law (Master 2 or business school).
  • Excellent command of English and French; written and spoken.
  • Proficient with marketing databases.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
