Business Development & Communications Coordinator

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Coordinator, Business Development & Communications is responsible for supporting the business development efforts of Mexico City office, with a primary focus on events planning and execution. The Coordinator, Business Development & Communications reports directly to the Regional Manager, Business Development & Communications and Firm Associate Director, Business Development & Communications, where applicable. In performing this role, the Coordinator, Business Development & Communications is expected to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments, and comply with Firm policies and procedures. The Coordinator, Business Development & Communications is also expected to assist in other BD-related functions, including for example helping with tracking of client interactions and client targeting, and with the preparation of internal BD-related documents (such as slide decks for internal BD-related meetings). The Coordinator, Business Development & Communications is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to producing quality work product as part of a global team.

Required Qualifications:

  • University-level degree.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a business development and/or marketing role in a business and/or professional services environment. Law firm experience is preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Able to fluently speak, write, and read English and Spanish.
  • Legal Directories experience is a plus.
